    Not so funny story: DTH Summer Intensive Week 2

    Today before Pointe Class I couldn’t find my other toe pad.  Ballerinas you know exactly how that feels, we’ve all been there.   I asked around and nobody had in extra. So I looked in my bag and found a scrunchie and used it as a toe pad. My friends didn’t think it was a good idea. At first I didn’t want to go up on pointe because I thought it would hurt or feel uncomfortable. But it actually felt better then the toe pad. So I just might keep wearing srunchies instead of toe pads. Or I might get a pad that has more cushioning. UPDATE: A  little tip to you:…

    An Update on my Mini Farm (Garden)

      My mini farm as grown so much since I got back from camp. My watermelon is going to my neighbor’s side of the fence! Also my tomatoes, eggplant, and hot peppers are huge. And the hot pepper seeds are growing as well. We have tons of cucumber already too! Down below are some pictures of the plants so you can see how much they have grown!

    First Week of the Dance Theatre of Harlem Summer Intensive

      This summer I am going to the Dance Theatre of Harlem Summer Intensive. It is for 4 weeks. At the end of the 4 weeks we are going to have a street festival and we are going to dance in it. It is free and everyone is invited. It is on August 9th, hope you guys can make it.  Let me know if you do!  I have completed one week already and it was fun, exciting, emotional, and tiring.     Coming Back From Great Books

      Great Books was awesome. It was really fun and I had a great time. I made some really close friends and learned so much there. I suggest if you love reading and want to get better at reading and comprehending what you are reading you should go to Great Books. You  have PA’s and my PA was Alina and she was so nice. You also feel like a college student because you stay in dorms and eat in the cafeteria and you have a key to your dorm and you have a room mate.
