Great Books was awesome. It was really fun and I had a great time. I made some really close friends and learned so much there.
I suggest if you love reading and want to get better at reading and comprehending what you are reading you should go to Great Books.
You have PA’s and my PA was Alina and she was so nice.
You also feel like a college student because you stay in dorms and eat in the cafeteria and you have a key to your dorm and you have a room mate. My room mate became one of my bffs. Hi Emily!!! I miss you already! I miss you so much Rachel!!! And you too Maddie!!! And all the great friends I made at Amherst this summer. Can’t wait to see you guys next year!
On my floor in the second week they were renovating the other bathroom on our floor, so the whole floor had to share 1 bathroom which had 2 showers, 2 stalls, and 2 sinks! Can you imagine, over 16 girls and 1 bathroom?!?! I woke up at 6:30 to get to the showers so I didn’t have to wait in a line.
They had art electives and in the first week I chose music which was so fun. We played Michael Jackson’s Thriller. I learned how to play a bass guitar, how cool is that! Our group got a standing ovation. The second week I chose Creative Writing and my teacher was very funny. His name was Mike. My group did a narrative about two of the PA’s getting in a fight in the lunch room because one of them was jealous of the others hair. And we did it from different perspectives. It was hilarious.
Next year I am coming again. I hope you guys do too.
